In my work, I encounter heart-centred women entrepreneurs who are spiritual and often feel conflicted with generating money or making more in their business. There is an underlying belief that making more money is selfish, greedy, or not spiritual
They say, “It is not about the money. I just want to help people and make a difference”.
This mindset can lead to self-sabotaging actions including under earning, under charging, over delivering and under valuing their time and expertise. These actions can then cause feelings of resentment, blame and overwhelm.
If this is the case for you, then it is critical to understand that while it is admirable to want to help many people and make a difference, the problem is that it is very hard to achieve this goal when you have no money.
The truth is, if you want to help many people, then you must step up and play a much “bigger game” in your business. You have an opportunity to help and be of service to many more people when you have money.
Making more money in your business automatically enables you to reach more people. It is a symbiotic flow. Money also provides you with more choices so that you can contribute to your favorite causes, help family and friends, enjoy a better quality of life for you and your family, and so much more.
Therefore, the more money you can make, the more you can help others, be of service and fulfill your soul.
For women, money is not the means to an end. Money is simply the vehicle to help us realize our heart’s desires and mission in life.
It is important to remember that money is part of your spiritual purpose and mission. It is the vehicle that will help you to fully express yourself in your business and realize your full potential and higher purpose.
Since you have a big mission, money is the tool that will help you accomplish your important work in the world, including transforming lives.
Bottom line, you can be spiritual and rich at the same time. And yes, it can be about the money.
One of my favorite mindset regarding this topic is to let your prosperity and wealth be based on the amount of good you contribute to the world. Adopting this mindset can set you free.
